God’s Covenants of old are known as the Old Testament. However, the translation of the Hebrew word ber-eeth is not testament, which is from a Latin word. Ber-eeth means covenant. Thus, the Old Bible is really God’s Covenant of Old.

God made eight Covenants with His people during the days before Jesus Christ came to Earth and died on the Cross, fulfilling all the types and shadows in the Old Testament.

This book is a chronological study of these eight Covenants, which form, as it were, the spokes in the Wheel of God’s Covenants of Old.

God’s first Covenant was made with Noah (Genesis 6:18). This was His Water Covenant, which was a binding agreement that He would never again destroy the Earth with water.

God made a Blood Covenant with Abram (Genesis 15:17,18). With Moses and Israel, God made a Sabbath Covenant (Exodus 16:23-30). God’s fourth Covenant was a Covenant of Circumcision, which He made with Abram and his Seed (Genesis 17:1,2).

Beautiful mysteries about all eight Covenants unfold in this study that open our eyes to how these Covenants apply to areas of our lives, today, and how they connect to other Truths in God’s Word.
