In all of God’s Word, there are fifteen times that chapter eight and verse twenty-eight appear. Each chapter eight, verse twenty-eight, relates to one of the Psalms of Ascent, which are Psalm 120 – Psalm 134. In each instance, the spiritual principle taught in chapter eight, verse twenty-eight, corresponds to the spiritual principle in a Psalm of Ascent. For example, Exodus 8:28 correlates with Psalm 120, and this pattern continues throughout the Bible until all the eighth chapters and twenty-eighth verses and the fifteen Psalms of Ascent are interrelated. The basic Spiritual Principle in each verse and each Psalm is this: The LORD God Is the Supreme, Sovereign Head over All Things. Each Principle pertains to our lives, today, and when applied, brings us to greater gratitude for God and to unity with our Christian brothers.
