Question:

  1. First Samuel 30:10-12, when David's men found an Egyptian, it says that they gave him bread, water, figs, and raisins. After they gave him the bread, why did they have to make him drink water? If I had not had any bread and water for 3 days, and had just eaten bread, I would be famished for water. Also what is the meaning of the stature of the four things: bread, water, figs, raisins?
