This lesson is a study of the Prophet Balaam, which is taken from Numbers chapters 22 through 24. It covers the statures of Balaam’s flesh, God’s warning to Balaam, what the LORD said to Balaam through his ass, and Balaam’s four Prophecies concerning Israel and God that were given from the high mountain of Baal, Pisgah, and Peor. King Balak of the Moabites thought that if he could put the Prophet Balaam in the right place, he would curse Israel rather than bless her. The Prophet Balaam hoped that God would change His Mind concerning His blessing upon Israel so that he could gain King Balak’s reward. However, they both learned that what God has already blessed cannot be cursed.
