This message continues our study of Jesus’ Spiritual Tabernacle and the Commandments on the Table of Shewbread side. It covers the love of God’s Commandments and gives David as an example using Psalm 119. This lesson covers the stature of David’s will concerning God’s Commandments: (1) David willed to run in the Way of God’s Commandments (Psalm 119:32), (2) David’s will delighted in God’s Commandments (Psalm 119:47), (3) David’s will was surrendered to God’s Commandments (Psalm 119:48), and (4) David’s will kept God’s Commandments (Psalm 119:115). It covers the stature of the Character of God’s Commandments: (1) They are Faithful (Psalm 119:86), (2) They are Delights (Psalm 119:143), (3) They are Truth (Psalm 119:151), and (4) They are Righteousness (Psalm 119:172). Then, this lesson covers the effect of God’s Commandments on David’s Life: (1) They touched David’s will, (2) David became acquainted with their Nature, (3) David could describe what the Commandments were, and (4) David loved them so much that he prayed to lay hold of them more.

Regardless of how much we have laid hold of, God is a mighty big God. The Bible says that the Heavens and the Earth cannot contain Him, so we must beware lest we be caught in a spiritual net of self-righteousness and pride and think that we can contain all of God in our little finite mind. God will be all Eternity revealing Himself unto us, so let us humble ourselves and recognize our need to have more of God.
