This lesson tells from God’s Word what a terrible place Hell is, which was prepared by God for the Devil and his angels, not for human souls. God sent His Only Beloved Son Who hung and died on Calvary’s Cross and shed every drop of His Blood so that souls might escape the awful place called Hell. In God’s Word, He tells us seven things concerning Hell: (1) Hell burns with God’s Anger (Deuteronomy 32:22), (2) Hell is a place of sorrow (Psalm 18:5, Second Samuel 22:6), (3) Hell is a place of the deep (Job 11:7,8) (Proverbs 9:18), (4) Hell is a place of nakedness and shame (Job 26:6), (5) Hell is a place of pain (Psalm 116:3), (6) Hell is a place of worms (Isaiah 14:11) (Mark 9:44), and (7) Hell is a place of Fire and Brimstone (Matthew 5:22) (Matthew 18:9) and (Luke 16:24). We need a vision of Hell so that we can kneel down, pray, weep, cry, intercede, and ask God to deliver souls from Hell. God wants us to have a vision of lost souls and to go out and to minister to them, to bring them in, and to save them from this awful place called Hell.
