Difference between the world's glory and God's Glory. The power in approaching God with the shout, yell, and noise as a result of being emptied out of the flesh. Not hungry for the Word until an empty place has been made.

Failing to inquire of the Lord, Israel (with Joshua as leader) made a covenant with the Gibeonites; shows how we can make a covenant with the flesh which cannot be broken. The danger of invisible enemies because they try to make a league with us.

The visible enemies which rose up against Israel; also the invisible enemies, that invisible pride which we cannot see-in its deceitful working. The danger of invisible enemies above the visible ones.
